Do you want people to buy your music? Hire you for a gig or commission piece? Buy pre-recorded lessons from you?
Know your vibe...
Your personality should be evident in the design. Know whether you're looking for bright and cheery, wistful, dark and heavy, and how you want your audience to feel when they see your site.
Know your colors...
Do you already have a logo or color scheme? If not, have some inspiration in mind. It doesn't have to be website related. A picture, artwork, even your favorite phone case can help me develop a color scheme that is best for you.
